A crash involving six vehicles blocked multiple lanes of traffic on Highway 99 in south Sacramento, authorities said Thursday.

The CHP’s South Sacramento office said on social media there may be “possible minor injuries” for a crash that happened about 4 p.m. on southbound Highway 99, near Mack Road. No other information was immediately available about the cause behind the crash.

A six-vehicle crash is causing delays Thursday in Sacramento.

All I-95 southbound lanes and the northbound left shoulder and left lane are closed near Bells Road at mile marker 71.5 due to a multi-vehicle crash, per VDOT.
